Henry VIII

Henry VIII

Dave Burroughs studied Graphic Design at Hornsey College of Art (which became Middlesex Polytechnic)

After spending a number of years working in Advertising and Design he decided that illustration was what he really wanted to do.

He began working on Children's Non-Fiction in the early 1990s and this has since become his area of expertise. Incorporating a variety of style he has contributed to well over 200 books, wall charts and educational projects for a number of publishers including Macmillan Education, Pearson Education, Oxford University Press, The British Museum, Aladdin Books, Franklin Watts and Autumn Publishing as well as the NFER (National Federation of Educational Research).

A life-long Londoner (so far) who likes to walk, he has spent a number of years idly conceiving a graphic novel about an old oak tree.
