Moonlight
Roman Pisarev was born in St. Petersburg in Russia and studied at the St. Petersburg State Art Academy studying painting, drawing, sculpture, calligraphy, composition, architecture and History of Art, later also specialising in metal art and jewellery. He has illustrated for publishing houses in Russia as well as illustrating several books for The Folio Society in London. In 1999 he was the winner of the Waterstones General British Book Illustration of the Year Award. |
