Pamela Goodchild is a highly accomplished Illustrator and portrait artist. This is a charming original colour illustration fom the short story of the same name which appeared in The People's Friend Magazine published by D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd.

Pamela Goodchild studied at Eastbourne College of Art and has worked as an illustrator and portrait painter for thirty years. She has exhibited in Brighton and has been selected to exhibit at The National Portrait Gallery in London as part of the BP Portrait Awards exhibition.

She has produced work for many publishers among them being Blackie, Macmillan, Ginn, Oliver & Boyd, Heinemann, Hodder & Stoughton and many more.
